RUSSELL FRANCIS

Owner and Coach Russell Francis’s favorite words are “passion” and “perseverance.” Those are two ideas he likes to instill in his members, especially the ones he coaches in CrossFit Kids. Russell loves the fact that he’s changing the lives and futures of young people through CrossFit.

“I love seeing kids enjoy themselves with equipment that they’ve probably never seen or touched before,” he says. “Pushing them out of their initial comfort zone and seeing the excitement of completing a workout is a real motivator.”

TRAVIS DALRYMPLE

Head Coach and General Manager Travis Dalrymple, aside from having the “most fun to say” last name in the gym, is also a specialist in gymnastics. He loves watching his members do their first pull up or push up. “It’s always a great moment,” he says. When Travis isn’t in the gym, you can find him on his snowboard.

JANINE “J9” HUNTER

Coach Janine (J9) Hunter says “I am Fe (Iron) male (Man), therefore I am IRONMAN!” Her favorite thing about coaching is “Witnessing our members gain in confidence,” she says. “Their daily PRs or changes over time drives me to be a better coach and their simple ‘thank you’ at the end of class reminds me that the small things I do or say can affect their success.”

An avid runner, Janine found CrossFit on a “blind date” set up by a former teammate who knew she needed something a little different after developing chronic tendonitis in both her Achilles. The relationship is obviously working out. “CrossFit and I are now 3 years strong!” she says.

Leo Crucillo

Brazilian born and former captain of Brazilian Men’s National Basketball Team, Leo Crucillo (now turned competitive CrossFit athlete and coach) shows up to the gym everyday with positive energy, ready to share his passion for the sport with everyone around him!
 
Leo competed in the 2019 Latin American CrossFit Regionals, where his team placed 14th overall! 
 
For the past 12 years, Leo has immersed himself into the CrossFit culture and community with no plans on slowing down anytime soon. One of his favorite sayings is, “A little progress each day – adds up to big results.” 

LIZ MORAN

Coach Liz comes to CFJC with a background in soccer, track & field and gymnastics. As a natural athlete, Liz brings competition, camaraderie and colorful energy to the gym on a regular basis. What fuels her fire is coaching people in their fitness journey through support, education and love. Liz enjoys most barbell lifts and any workout that includes wall balls. When she’s outside of the gym, you can catch her with her family, on a mountain or at a bagel shop!

A No-Sweat Intro is a chance for you to come into the gym and have a 20-30 minute chat with one of the coaches.  You’ll discuss your fitness goals and we’ll discuss how CrossFit might be able to help you achieve them.

 

We call it a ‘No-Sweat Intro’ as you won’t actually be working out the first time you come in.  You’ll see what a regular CrossFit class looks like and how we structure what we hope will eventually become the best hour of your day!  If you like what you see and hear, we can get you started as soon as the next day!
