CROSSFIT

Based on the CrossFit prescription of “constantly varied, functional movement, performed at high intensity,” our CrossFit program combines cardio, gymnastics and weightlifting movements into a Workout of the Day (WOD).   In this class, you could be working on pull-ups, rowing, burpees, weightlifting, handstand walks and much more.  Every WOD is different so you never get bored!  The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree, not kind so we scale each workout to your individual ability and fitness level, so you get the intended workout stimulus in every class

FUNDAMENTALS

The Fundamentals Program will set you up for success in a safe and confident environment prior to entering our regular classes. Working one on one with a coach, you’ll learn what CrossFit is and why it is a great way to get you fit for life and other endeavors.

We teach Fundamentals in 6 x 30 minutes classes over 2 to 3 weeks as we believe in making sure you move with correct form right from the start. CrossFit is something you will take with you throughout life, whether or not you’re in an actual CrossFit class (Functional Movement) so why rush the basics? These classes (which are required for everyone who has never tried CrossFit before) teach you all the foundational movements you’ll need to get you ready for the intensity of CrossFit. Come prepared to learn new skills and sweat a little.

GYMNASTICS

Gymnastics class is designed to help you perfect the way your body moves in space, while also making you more aware of where you are in space while moving. The class is heavily built on skills and drills that hone your ability in whatever gymnastics movement we happen to be working on that day. Each class ends with a short workout where you’ll have an opportunity to put those new skills to the test while still getting your sweat on.

BURN!

Our BURN! class is open to anyone looking for a high intensity cardio workout.  You won’t find any barbells or high skill gymnastic movements in this class!  We will strap a Polar heart rate monitor to you and guide you through various heart rate zones, customized to your individual fitness level.  If you are looking for a quick 300-400 calorie burn to start your day right, this is the class for you!  And you don’t need any previous CrossFit experience.

STRENGTH CLASS

Our 90 minute strength class is going to get you stronger, not only with a barbell (Olympic lifts, power lifts, squats), but also in gymnastics. Let us help you master the virtuosity of the movement first and then learn to string multiple reps together.

Complementing your CrossFit classes with our Strength Class will see you raising the bar (literally) and setting new PRs in no time!

CROSSFIT KIDS (5-18yr)

Who says adults get to have all the fun? Our CrossFit Kids classes teach children ages 5-18 the principles of mechanics, consistency and intensity in working out. Establishing good movements and fitness through childhood and adolescence is our goal. CrossFit Kids provides children with physical literacy, enhanced sports performance, and fewer sports injuries. Also, scientific research proves that exercise benefits cognitive function. So your little athlete will do better on the field and in the classroom.

OPEN GYM

Miss a workout during the week that you really wanted to do?  Want to work on a specific skill, get some extra mobility in or practice a movement?  Want to do some bicep curls cos we never do them in class?  OR do you just want to come in and hang out with your new best friends?

Open gym time is an opportunity for all the above.
